School Mission
- The mission of the Gabriella Charter School is to draw upon the discipline, creativity and cognitive aspects of dance to engage children to become more active learners and to enhance academic skill-building by integrating dance throughout the curriculum. The elementary charter school offers a challenging and innovative standards-based curriculum that is complemented by the focus, discipline and creativity of dance. The curriculum's goal is to stimulate children to STRETCH, REACH, EXPLORE, PRACTICE and PERFORM as a means of achieving excellence in the classroom.

clubs--sports and arts and crafts. (K-5); parents pay on a sliding scale and Math and Music class is an enrichment to the mathematics program for grades 2-5.
Students have instruction in music appreciation and keyboarding and spend two
periods a week on a coordinated computer program that emphasizes problem solving.

Parent and Community Support
- Parents work in the classroom, assist in the
office and library, monitor pickup and dropoff,
help with school beautification projects,
garden, monitor dance and art classes,

our Parent Organization and on our School
Governance Committee. High school and
adult community volunteers work in the
classrooms and tutor in our after-school
program.

that is available during the day or to be checked out by students.
