School Mission
- Cheyenne Traditional School is a school of choice. The acquisition of basic skills, primarily through direct instruction is viewed as the foundation of the learning process. Priority is given to the fundamental tools of learning in the core academic areas of phonics and reading; grammar, spelling and writing; mathematics; history, geography and science. Students will be given opportunities to apply those skills in a meaningful, reinforcing way. Similar to other schools in the Scottsdale Unified District the traditional school will provide and academic environment that will develop respect, responsibility, honesty, integrity, leadership and citizenship in accordance with the district's mission statement.
